Organic Stokes Purple® Sweet Potato

Offering a well-balanced sweetness and texture, Stokes Purple® sweet potato is a unique variety with purple skin and rich purple flesh that intensifies when cooked. Aside from its unique bold color it also contains anthocyanin antioxidants (just like blueberries) and is a good source of vitamin C and fiber, making it healthy and nutritious. The Stokes Purple® sweet potato is grown in California and is non-GMO.

  • Oven (preferred method): Preheat oven to 350°F. Rinse & wrap Stokes Purple® sweet potato in aluminum foil and place in oven. Bake for 1-2 hours. Cool, unwrap & enjoy.
  • Microwave: Rinse and wrap Stokes Purple® sweet potato in wet paper towel. Place in a microwave-safe dish and cook in 1 inch of water for 6-8 minutes or until soft. Note that for low wattage microwaves and cooking multiple potatoes, time may vary.
    • With their vibrant purple skin and deep-hued flesh, these sweet potatoes are a good source of vitamin C (almost 4 times that of an orange sweet potato), fiber, and contain anthocyanin antioxidants (just like blueberries).
  • Keep in a cool dry place and use within 2 weeks.
