4 fuyu persimmons
2 frozen bananas
2 tbsp maple syrup
1-inch piece Frieda’s fresh ginger root
1-inch piece Frieda’s fresh turmeric root
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup ice
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
Place all the ingredients into a high speed blender.
Blend on high until smooth.
Pour into two glasses and top with whipped cream or yogurt.
